Slightly more metallic from their previous releases and with a clear Amebix influence, "Awakening From Lethargy" is a must-have for fans of Greek hardcore.

Hey y'all!
Just updated the distro list with some stuff I got through trading,check it out. September was a busy month music-wise,lots of great shows like DogsHolyLife and Crimen plus local shows with new greek bands that deserve your attention. The only bummer is that a lot of people who attend the shows here don't want to realize that in order to keep seeing bands from abroad they should contribute to "the box" (all diy shows in Greece don't have an entrance fee, there's just a box where everyone leaves some money for the show expenses). So next time you go to a diy show keep in mind that the touring band needs some gas money to play their next show and the rented p.a that needs to be payed. Now for those of you who don't have a problem to pay an entrance fee I strongly advise you to go the following shows:

Starting this new season with a bang! We got two new releases planned already,a split lp between Homo Homini Lupus from Croatia and Aggrenation from Sweden that will be a co-release of various diy labels from europe and an lp release by Greece's finest anarcho post punks,Πανδημία (Pandemia for the non-native speakers). The first is planned to be out by the end of the year,as for the later I would say that it'll propably be out by early March 2012.

Currently we're placing orders for new stuff in the distro so expect a massive update soon.

Hey punks!
I hope you all have fun despite all the shit around us. The world is going straight to hell but punk rock is here to save us once more!
I just want to point out a few things that will be going on this summer and we're glad to be part of.
Scorched Earth from Sweden will be playing a show in Athens on the 18th of July (yes,that's on Monday!) and along with them 5 more awesome bands from Athens will be filling the bill. We strongly advise you to get your ass to the show! For more info you can check here.
Next is the annual Arm Your Desires fest on the 29/30/31st of July taking place in the outskirts of Tyrnavos. A beautiful place to chill out,get drunk,meet punks from all over greece and enjoy a shitload of great bands. Check it here.
In other news we plan to turn this blog in a proper website and make it easier for everyone to order. That's not gonna happen before September though so be patient for a bit more.
We're more than happy to announce that the A-Truth / Kalazaar-Split 7" is selling out fast! We still have copies but not for long,by the way trades are very welcomed so get in touch.
Last but not least,we have some new stuff on the distro like the latest issue of Artcore 'zine (#28) and a great fastcore/hc split between Metralleta and Diskoiraa,within the next days the Perdition/Nerveskade split 7", Sakatat/Matka Teresa split 7" and the Avfall 7" will all be available.

Haven't post any news in a while,we're still waiting for the (A)-Truth/Kalazaar 7" from the plant,hopefully we'll get it within the next week,the artwork/inlays are almost done.
The "Raw Punx Against The State" benefit compilation is now complete as we found enough bands to fill the cd. The compilation will be a co-release with Noise Attack records,a great friend of mine and also responsible for some killer grind releases through his label!
Also we have a new section with used records in excellent condition,had to go through a clean-up in our record collection before it's too late and the whole floor is covered with bands' records we don't listen to,anymore! Take a peak,you might find something interesting.
In other news,I saw Glam from Spain live yesterday at Katarameno Syndromo (aka sweaty-smoked up basement,perfect for punk shows in the wasteland of Athens) and was totally blown out by their intensity onstage! Fuckin' awesome band!

Got some new stuff in the distro,the last issue of Keep It Real 'zine (#10) from greece and the debut full length cd from Progress Of Inhumanity,a great grindcore band from Athens that you should definitely check out.
There's more stuff coming like the Contort tape (noise punk from Ireland),Apparatus-hardcore religion cd and the Roxor 7" (crust from slovakia)..that's what's coming to mind for now,there's propably more but my burned-out brain is not serving me well lately!
By the way,Fredag Den 13th E are an awesome band both live and on record! Just saw them two days ago and they fuckin' ripped! Too bad I didn't got any copies of their latest lp for the distro..check'em out for sure!

It's always nice to hear/read good reviews for my releases but I just found out about two things that exceeded all my expectations that I had when I first started doing this label/distro.
First off,the Glöm Dä!-Grisigast i Östergötland 7" made it in the top ten releases of the year in the swedish punk magazine Doomsday and the Teargas demo tape turned some heads to their way and finaly got the attention they deserved with their first ep. I think they even play in next years' Chaos In Tejas fest!
I wish the best to both bands and I'm looking forward for their next releases!
In other news,two great friends of mine hopped on the scull crasher wagon so that makes us a collective label from now on!

Finally things start getting better! The long-awaited Besthoven/Go Filth Go split 7" is done and I'm getting the copies next week,can't wait for this one!
The new Glom Da! 7" is also out and I'll propably get it around the same time,two releases that will please every d-beat fan!

Discrumt hail from from Pennsylvania, USA and Gnosis is a cd-r released in 2008, they formed in 2005 and their discog is Refusing To Conform To Your Norms ep (2006), Gnosis (2008) and Ornithic (2009), they also appeared in a couple of compilations.
Gnosis delivers ten tracks of a raw blending of 80's anarcho-punk with a few crustpunk elements. Hi to all the punx out there! I haven't post an update for some time now,not much going on,I'm just waiting for some releases to be pressed (Sakatat/Cut Your Throat 7",Kalazaar/Wardogs tape,Teargas demo tape,Ultimate Blowup 7").
I'm really excited since everything's rolling smoothly with the distro/label and people start to pay some attention!

Hi! Ok this one is gonna be a short one,not much to say anyway! The new issue of Agitate zine is here! For those of you who don't know it and are really into crust/d-beat/noise punk should definetely check it out! Trust me :)
Three releases from Scull Crasher are in the works,the Kalazaar/Bakounine split 7",Sakatat/Cut Your Throat split 7" and the first Asfyxia mcd! I'm really excited with all of them since all of them involve greek bands (we're lazy as fuck and never realease anything!!) and more importantly they're all good friends of mine!
Also I'm waiting for the Kalazaar t-shirts! The money from these t-shirts will go to help the prisoners of this past december riots so I hope people like'em!

Hi fellow punx and crusties! I just got back from a mini greek tour and I believe that most of you can guess where I was....Tragedy played (actually the right word is "destroyed"!) 3 shows in Athens,Thessaloniki and Larissa and all of them were a blast! Two out of three shows were with Brutal Knights,which also fuckin' rocked! I got their "Total Rebellion" LP for the distro,if you like fast,humorous and energetic hc/punk then you should definetely check it out! I'm waiting for the Dazd/Nakot split 7"s to arrive,two great crust/hc bands from Serbia that deserve your attention!

Hey there! This one is gonna be short,I just got the Bloody Phoenix LP "War,hate and misery" from their show in Athens (which kicked ass!),it's great crusty grindcore,just how you noise-loving fuckers like it and it's for 6 euros each,so hurry up! Also I'm waiting for the Dazd/Nakot split 7" (really nice bands from Serbia,Nakot also have a split with Dyspnea from Greece,just check the distro list)
In other news,there are some plans for a co-release with other distros for a split 7" and I'm really excited since this is gonna be my first release ever!

Hello and cheers to everyone! I hope you had a great time during the holiday season!
I didn't! By now you'll already know what happened in Greece with the murder of a 15-year old kid by a cop so I won't start ranting about it! It was very sad but what happened after his death gave me a sign of hope that things might change for the better! People uniting and fighting together like this is one of the things I'd like to witness in my life!
Anyway,let's move on! We got some new stuff in the distro,zines and tapes,that you should check out! No Exit #2 is out and people seem to dig it and I'm really happy about it,it took to much time but it was worth all the effort!
New stuff will arrive soon,mostly debut releases from new bands that I got in touch with in order to help them distribute their records.

Just got back from the Arm Your Desires fest and after a day of getting my shit together and recovered from a serious hangover I updated the distro list! Almost all the tapes and CD's are gone but I got some really great new stuff like the long-awaited 7" split between Terrorismo Musical and Disturbance Project,the Satan's Reject ep and the Dyspnea/Nakot split 7"! All of them are awesome! Finally the Germ Attak LP is here and I'm also waiting for their latest ep which will be released in early September,I can't recommend this band enough!

We are currently waiting for some more great tapes including Confuse (Japan) discography, A//Political-Planting the seeds of revolution, Lebenden Toten/Skitkids-split tape and more anarcho-punk goodies!
Also the Antimob-Unconscious tape is finally out! Antimob is a great Japcore band from Greece and they just got back from they're first euro tour!
There's a benefit compilation for Greek political prisoners with Greek punk/hc/crust bands in the works, it will be released on CD and LP including a thick booklet with essays from the prisoners themselves,band's lyrics and essays about the situation in the Greek prisons,a great effort for a greater cause! How it all started:
Scull Crasher records & distribution started in 2007 as a small fanzine distro, I was getting a lot of fanzines from all over the world through trades with my 'zine (No Exit) and thought it would be great idea if I started a distro and spread the information about the worldwide punk/hc scene. Soon after that I decided that there's got to be some audio material too, mostly releases from bands featured in the 'zines I had on the distro. The next step was to start releasing records from Greek bands in order to help them with the distribution and let more people out of Greece know what is going on in this wasteland.

How things work:
Some of you might already know what's behind the process of releasing a record but since there are still people in Greece that think that diy record labels are in it for the profit I feel it's important to give you an insight of how things work. Making a living from the distro/label is equally difficult as achieving world peace, unless you charge 20 euros for each record and have a lot people byuing a ton of your releases but this is what I fight against! I like to keep all my releases and stuff on the distro in as low as possible prices so they can be affordable & available for everyone. If there's a record in the distro list that costs more than the rest it's because of the shipping charges. I try to get even on what money I spent on buying records for the distro but it hasn't been working, couldn't care less though, I love what I do even if I end up lose a ton of money. When someone buys one of my releases and tells me he/she liked it I consider it as my reward for all the hard work. Punk is not about making money or being famous, it's about communication, sharing your feelings with like-minded people, a form of expressing yourself and a medium to channel the frustration about what's wrong in this world. It doesn't matter if you play in a band, make a fanzine, book shows, run a record label or be a "fan" (i hate that word!), we're all in it for the same reasons so we better start working together for building the world we want to live in.

What's in store for the future:
Re-releasing on vinyl all the obscure 90's Greek hardcore demo tapes, hunt down and kill every last one of the fuckers selling out-of-print punk records on ridiculous prices on ebay, destroy the music business. ...but I guess there will be no time for doing all of the above since the end of the world is near.
